Getting Active

Orienteering
SDCSP, in partnership with South Dublin County Council, G.E.N. Orienteering Club, 3 Roc Orienteering Club, Setanta Orienteering Club and Ajax Orienteering Club, has installed permanent orienteering courses in our 3 regional parks – Corkagh Park, Griffeen Valley Park and Tymon Park – as well as in the Dublin Mountains at the Hell Fire Club/ Massey’s Wood.
All of these courses are available to use free of charge and are an ideal way for a school to address the outdoor adventure element of their PE curriculum, or for youth or community groups or indeed a family to discover the outdoors in our county. There are short, medium and long courses available in each location
